| Abstract (ENG): |
The success of digital transformation initiatives is crucial for companies today. Above all, the human factor and the way in which employees engage in these initiatives is of central importance. In the course of employee engagement, mindset in particular has been identified as a crucial source. Over the years, an established stream of literature has developed on the conceptualization and measurement of digital mindset. What is lacking, however, are specific management actions that enable companies to shape digital mindset of their employees and, subsequently, their engagement in digital transformation. Using an action research approach, this study seeks to work with managers affected by a large digital transformation initiative at a leading German company to develop and evaluate managerial actions that influence the digital mindset. |
