Abstract (ENG): In the field of Digital Leadership, the importance of taking the emotions of individuals and teams into consideration is growing. Alongside the gender-based division indicated by the research field of Female Leadership, this paper draws attention to the barely researched intersection between the research streams of Digital Leadership and Female Leadership. Thus the study begins by outlining the current understanding of both these topics. Quantitative research was conducted using non-probability sampling and a survey. The question of whether Eagly & Karau’s “Role Congruity Theory of Prejudice Toward Female Leaders” of 2002 continues to apply to female leaders in the digital context was measured through the assessment of personality traits grouped into agentic and communal values. The analysis verifies that prejudice differs significantly between gender groups, with male employees generally assigning fewer agentic than communal traits to female digital leaders. Intended to provide the cornerstone for future research, this study concludes by discussing its practical implications.
