| Abstract (ENG): |
The increasing complexity of global supply chain networks calls for innovative tools to enhance transparency and collaborative decision-making. Hence, we developed the first Digital Supply Chain Twin (DSCT) that enables real-time visualizations, simulations, and planning capabilities among supply chain network partners. We applied the design science approach to develop a desktop application and an immersive prototype for the Apple Vision Pro. To ensure effective adoption, we propose a three-step, mixed-methods user experience evaluation process. An initial workshop identified data, technical, and business challenges for DSCT adoption. In the second step, we combine focus group discussions, cognitive walkthroughs, and a combination of the User Experience Questionnaire and the iGroup Presence Questionnaire. This research contributes a tailored evaluation process for immersive business applications in the DSCT domain and advances sustainable and collaborative supply chain management practices. |
