In this article we focus on Machine Learning in services and introduce a framework for Machine-Learning-Infusion (ML-infusion) in service processes. We introduce basic machine learning tasks, outline the differences between Machine Learning (ML) and related concepts such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and present a literature review on machine learning in the service literature. Finally, we present our framework of Machine-Learning-Infusion and discuss potential application areas. |
