Abstract (ENG): Digital learning has become a major practice during the Covid-19 lockdown, in most countries of this world. In order to classify different types of opportunities and challenges and evaluating their ethical aspects, this study uses a Strength/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats (SWOT) analysis to compare different approaches and where/how they are being used: (S) Technologies, teaching and learning innovations; (W) Issues with connectivity, regulations, privacy, digital literacy, grading modes; (O) Goals, disciplines, course sizes, teaching-/learning styles, competencies to be acquired, and (T) Challenges for motivation, holistic understanding, interaction and collaboration, fairness, physical and psychological well-being. Based on the analysis, issues such as digital and societal divide, fairness, protection and regulation, consequences for learning results, freedom of science, and the role of universities will be discussed.
